A voice for families in Washington

Military Wife. Real Estate Professional. Activist.

Mother.

The day my son was born, I looked into his eyes and everything in me changed. Mothers aren’t just someone who gives birth to a child. Mothers nurture, heal, and protect their child through strength, wisdom, and patience. A mother doesn’t give up when times get difficult. A mother will always figure out a way to make things better…

Washington needs a mother.

From the time we decided to call Maryland our forever home I fell in love with the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay, the dynamic mixture of city and rural living, and the devotion Marylanders give to their kin. As an Air Force wife and Navy “BRAT” I’ve lived in a multitude of other states and there is absolutely nowhere else I’d rather raise my son. For too long District 3 has had a representative who didn’t actually care for us. Someone who was so disconnected that he moved his family out of our district entirely. Unlike him I love our district. I’m here to listen, learn, and represent.

There’s no way to say this lightly- the housing market is a mess and our district has felt it more intensely than most places in the US. While members of the house dabble in real estate investments, not a single person in congress has done anything about it but line their pockets. None of them have been actively trying to find average income families a home during this housing crisis. But I have. Any agent of quality will tell you that over the last few years we have watched the American dream of creating generational wealth all but disappear. My passion lies in helping people like myself, that didn’t come from money, build a stable future. In order to do that- I have to clean up the mess “they” have made… as mothers do.
